For many people, the American Dream is to achieve freedom and be rich
they think it’s easy to succeed, and it is easy for everyone to achieve their dream😒😒😒.
But I think the American Dream is a kind of belief. Wherever you were born and whatever color you
are, you all have a chance to achieve your dream
👍👍👍.
The American dream is achieved through hard work and an adventurous attitude, it is not coincidentally. One must take a risk in order to achieve their goal, the American Dream.
The movie “ The Pursuit of Happyness” describes a story about a poor father-Chris Gardner pursuing the Amerian Dream and ultimate success. Chris' American Dream is to have stable work and income to feed and support his family so that his family can be happy. The man was a Medical Equipment Salesman. It is hard for him to maintain his life hood by selling bone density meters so he tries to find a new method in achieving his American Dream. Chris is interested in mathematics, so he wants to apply for a stockbroker position. In his pursuit of the American Dream, his wife left him, he also has no money to pay for house rental fee, so he has to sleep in the bathroom with his son. It seems like his dream, his “happy family” is falling apart.😔😔😔
But he works hard in the stock exchange company. At the end of the movie, Chris succeeds, he has his own company and he became rich, he achieve his own American Dream😆😆😆. He has a stable income and he can provide for his son.
As we can see from the movie,
it is not easy to achieve American Dream, 😅😥 In the process, people might face challenges that can make you want to give up, like Chris when his wife left him, when his car was towed away, or when he was homeless.
Everyone has the opportunity to achieve the American Dream, however, people may not have an equal chance or opportunity to pursue the American Dream. Some people may have more obstacles because of the colour of their skin, their gender, or their social/economic status. Regrardless, people should work hard and have strong determination😠😠. In the movie, Chris has a strong determination and works hard, so he succeeded in the end. We can also realize that the American Dream be presented realistically because people should do it instead of just thinking.
